freeProtractor provides a browser-based geometry studio allowing users to measure angles, calibrate screen dimensions, overlay digital protractors on images and camera feeds, and export geometric calculations. The service is provided completely free of charge for personal, educational, and commercial purposes.

3. Accuracy & Educational Disclaimer

While our HTML5 Canvas calculation algorithms compute angles with sub-pixel mathematical accuracy (0.01°), measurements in practice depend on user handle placement, camera lens distortion, and screen calibration.

freeProtractor is intended for educational, craft, design, and reference use. It is not certified for life-critical engineering, aviation, medical, or legal surveying purposes where calibrated physical metrology instruments are required.

4. Intellectual Property

The layout, code, brand name, and interactive tool design of freeProtractor are protected under applicable intellectual property laws. You retain 100% full ownership and copyright over any images, drawings, or measurement reports you upload or create using the tool.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. freeProtractor does not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of bugs.
